When do you run holiday camps?

School Sports Coaching holiday camps run throughout the year in Leeds and Bradford, during most school holiday breaks, including; February half term, Easter, Spring Bank, Summer (6 week holidays) October half term and Christmas.

Children can attend for a day or a number of days fitting around your existing work commitments and holidays. A typical day runs from 8 am – 5 pm. You can book for a full day, half day or a short day too, depending on what camp you book on to.

What does Ofsted registered mean?

Our camps are Ofsted registered which means all of our staff have certain qualifications as well as an enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid training and a commitment to continual professional development. It also means our venues and day to day running hit Ofsted requirements to ensure your child is in a safe environment.

How much do holiday camps cost?

As an Ofsted Registered camp our pricing reflects the standard of childcare that we provide as well as the variety of activities that we offer.

Pricing will vary at each camp but a typical full day, 8am - 5pm is £22. There are short days, half days and week discounts available too, depending which camp you book on to. Please see individual camp pages for current pricing.

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

What does my child need to wear for a holiday camp?

All of our holiday camps have indoor and outdoor facilities but we still need your child to be prepared for any weather conditions. Where the weather is particularly cold or wet, children will remain indoors. We advise your children to wear:

  • Shorts/tracksuit bottoms

  • A t-shirt and jumper/jacket

  • A coat for outdoor activities

  • Suitable footwear such as trainers are important

  • Football boots can be worn if we are on the 3G pitch or field

  • If the weather is particularly hot, please ensure sun cream is applied and a hat can be worn. Ideally, all day sun protection should be applied so that there is less need to reapply during the course of the day.

Do I need to supply food/drink for my child on a holiday camp?

Yes, for each day your child is on camp, they will need the following:

  • A named water bottle

  • A packed lunch

  • A snack for break time

Drinking water is available at all of our locations to refill.

What time do I need to drop off and pick up my child?

It is very important that you are prompt with dropping off and collecting your child. We hire facilities for 8am - 5pm daily, therefore our insurance only covers these time periods. Please drop your child at 8am and collect them at or just before 5pm each day. Thank you.

Where do I drop off and pick up my child?

There will be a coach in the car park areas of all the venues to direct you to the correct registration point.
